Ms. Alaha Ahrar completed her master’s degrees in Social Justice and Human Rights programs at George Mason University and submitted an outstanding final book on Human Trafficking, the narratives of human trafficking and human smuggling survivors.
Ahrar graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a triple major and one certificate on time in four years. Her majors are Human Rights, Political Science, and International Affairs, and her certificate is in Middle Eastern Studies.
Ahrar speaks English, Persian (Dari, Farsi), Hindi, Pashto, Urdu, and some basic Arabic and Spanish and has excellent high-level computer skills.
Ahrar has worked with several national and international organizations and has initiated many successful projects benefiting the United States, Afghanistan, Canada, and European Union Countries.
Ahrar is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Kindness Sharing (IKS), an international nonprofit organization 501 © 3 based in Virginia, United States.
Ahrar serves on the Board of Directors for International World Poetry, Canada now. She also served as one of the Board of Directors of the Afghan Women’s Writing Project.
Ahrar has a passion for writing and public speaking and has used these skills extensively to advocate for human rights, social justice, and peace.
Additionally, Ahrar is a national and international award-winning poet, writer, social justice, and human rights expert.
